Our story

Born in the city of Bikaner, in the year 1987, a trained dancer and artist, Monika studied at the prestigious National Institute Of Technology in Kolkata. She was trained in fashion under the likes of Ms. Anju Modi and Mr. Manish Malhotra understanding the fine manners of fashion. She started her label in the year 2019, specializing in traditional Indian & contemporary fashion for women.

The true inspiration of the designer comes from her own childhood and life experiences. The color palette of the label MONIKA MATHURIA DATTA is inspired by the colorful rich culture of Rajasthan. Her strong design sense is attributed to her rich cultural background. The brand aims to provide women of all shapes and sizes with practical clothes that give them a sense of comfort and style.
